About

Hello everyone!

I love beauty, fashion, music, movies, food, and cooking. I’ve been thinking about blogging for a while, but I’ve never gotten around to doing so. But these days, I have a lot more time on my hands to finally do something I’m passionate about.

I’ve been suffering from terrible skin issues (extremely dry and sensitive skin, acne, and skin allergies) for several years now and it has been very miserable for me. I completely lost self-confidence and felt ugly all the time. I searched for hours and hours online to find information about beauty products and tips for people who have skin like me, but it was so hard to find information. However, while searching, I also realized that there are many girls out there who are just like me. After all that suffering, my skin problem is slowly getting better and I’ve also learned many life lessons while I went through that time. Therefore, I decided to blog mainly about skincare and makeup products for people who have similar skin issues as me, as well as non-beauty items (food, accessories, electronics, etc). As I share my journey on how to get through these tough times and tips on how to resolve these issues, I’d like to inspire and encourage everyone to see themselves as more beautiful people. Everyone is beautiful and valuable. They just need to be themselves, have self-confidence, and love themselves.

I hope that through reading this blog, you will learn to love yourself more and become a more beYOUtiful you, because you really are beautiful 🙂

Thank you for visiting

Thank you for the “Like” on Hill Love! My children suffer with skin allergies and as I age my skin is changing. I will have to stop by again to read more about your recommendations.

Thank you for sharing your story! SI many women (and men) struggle to feel confident. It’s sometimes very challenging in today’s world and expectations. I struggled with low self esteem for many years and sometimes still do. I love what you are doing through your blog. Awesome! So nice to “meet” you!

Hey! Thank you for the ‘like’.

This is a really awesome blog you have here with lots of useful info.

Like you, I also suffered really badly with my skin. When I developed eczema, I spent two years looking like an alien because my doctor didn’t know what was wrong with me. Thankfully I took my mum’s advice and got a second opinion – and it took the new doctor under a minute to say what was wrong with me!

Ever since then, I’ve been very careful when it comes to looking after my skin and health in general.

Good luck on your own journey towards healthier skin 🙂

I think I commented about having a bit of a skin issue too on your site months ago. I think I may have discovered what was causing it. Soybean oil (used in some deli foods, but also seemingly put in every processed food product as an ingredient) and possibly also peanut butter (oil?). I stopped eating those and the issue has pretty much cleared up. So perhaps a food allergy.

Hi Clara, I can totally relate to your struggles. When I had bad skin (well I still do just not as bad) I didn’t even want to leave the house! The world definitely felt like it was collapsing… But anyway I wanted to say thanks for all supporting my blog ! 🙂 Hope it’s OK that I nominated you for the Beauty Blogger Award 🙂 I noticed you liked my beauty posts best 🙂 If you’re interested to participate, the details are here: https://hapinesswherever.wordpress.com/2015/09/01/beauty-blogger-award/ P.S.
