Sinful Colors – #105 Midnight Blue

IMG_3111

This color is stunning. It’s a shade darker than royal blue. With the shimmers it looks somewhat metallic as well. The color’s very vibrant and intense. It gives a nice accent to your fingertips which makes your fingers look longer and slimmer. If you love Essie’s Aruba Blue, you’ll like this one as well. The color and intensity are nearly the same. This really is a great and cheaper dupe of Aruba Blue. (This one’s only ~$2-3 while the Essie one is ~$8!)

The formula is on the thicker side than most polishes, so it’s hard to apply a thin coat or paint cleanly on the edges of nails. So you might have to use q-tips to clean up the edges. Even though the formula is very thick, it dries up quickly.

The only down side to this polish, as well as most Sinful Color polishes, is that it wears off pretty fast. So you do need to apply top coat to seal it.

Though this polish has a couple cons, the color really is gorgeous. It will look good with any outfit, from casual to formal, to even rock chic. If you’re tired of all the pretty princessy blues or mint colors out there, try this one!

Color intensity: 4.5 out of 5

Ease of use: 4 out of 5

Lasting (without chipping): 3.5 out of 5

Removability: 4 out of 5

Overall: 4 out of 5

Will I repurchase this item? YES!

Stay beYOUtiful ♥

An exquisite color. Since I’m not a liberated enough man to go outside with nail polish on (although this color does tempt me) I am sending it to my youngest daughter who will use it and loves blue as much as I.

PS thank you for dropping by to read.
